Encouraging and Equipping Women in their Walk with God, Fostering Life-Giving Connection Between Women
We would love to have you join us for any of our ministries and events. You will make new friends, be personally encouraged in your relationship with God, and discover new opportunities to grow and serve.
CBC’s Women’s Ministries exist to lead women to grow in their faith in Christ as their Savior, and to foster live-giving friendships between CBC’s women. Our ministry programs focus on fostering each woman’s:
understanding of the truth of God’s Word
reliance upon God as she learns to walk by His Spirit
application of God’s ruth in each season of her life
ability to lead and teach other women
Our Women's Ministries Coordinator is Amy Cantilina.

Moms of Little Ones (Molo)
Moms of Little Ones (MOLO). Few endeavors are more challenging and rewarding than raising a little one. Come be part of a group of moms who love their children, love the Lord, and would love to receive some encouragement! Moms from the community are welcome.
Spiritual Growth
Women's Bible Studies. God's Word is foundational for all that we do in our Women’s Ministries. We provide a variety of inductive Bible studies, video studies, and topics specifically for women. Bible studies are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese, and are offered during the daytime and evening hours to accommodate different schedules. Some of our studies in person, some online, and some hybrid.
Our English studies will dive into Revelation. Discover how the last book of the Bible — the culmination of God’s great story — is accessible, helpful, and speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure in every age. There are two ways to join, Tuesday evenings (6:45 pm - 8:45 pm) or Thursday mornings (9:30 am-11:30am). Bible study begins the week of January 7 . Registration is open online now! Register for Tuesday evenings here and Thursday mornings here.
Our Chinese ladies will study the book of John starting on September 11, 2024. Gather virtually on Wednesdays from 7:30-9pm via Zoom (Mandarin or Cantonese) or in person on Thursdays 9:30-11am at CBC (Mandarin).
Our Hispanic women get together the third Saturday of each month for study and fellowship. Meet in Room 19 from 8:30am-10am.
Community Bible Study. Chantilly Bible Church is the host site for the Chantilly chapter of this national ministry. CBS is open to all women in the community, regardless of church background, and provides a great opportunity to study the Bible. Classes for the children are included, making this a favorite choice for women with young families.
Women's Prayer Gatherings
Prayer gatherings are scheduled periodically as a time to come together with other CBC women, uniting our hearts and our voices in prayer for one another, our church, our community, and our nation. Coffee/Tea and light refreshments are served, with the primary focus on prayer. Stay tuned to CBC News and Women’s Ministry Facebook page for more information on scheduled prayer times.
Annual FALL Women's Retreat
We all need time to step away from the busyness life, and spend time with the Lord. Each fall our women get away with a guest speaker for a time of worship, teaching, encouragement and prayer, all wrapped up in fun and fellowship together.
Our most retreat was on October 18-20, 2024, at Potomac Park Retreat and Conference Center, and our special speaker, Victoria Robinson, returned to speak to us 10 years later. Our theme was "Fan Into Flame" based on two theme verses:
"For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love anda self-discipline." - 2 Timothy 1: 6-7
"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." - Romans 12: 11-13

Serving Others
Helping Hands
Nothing says "We love you" like a warm meal. Helping Hands is a ministry to provide meals for those in our church body who have recently experienced a new birth, illness, or surgery. Meals are prepared and provided by other church family members.
Covered in Love Quilters
Imagine receiving a beautiful quilt that someone invested hours to make. For women who love to quilt, or would like to learn, we invite you to join us, Sundays from 2:30-5PM. We use a variety of sewing projects for our servicemen, for those in need, and for outreach purposes.
